Most people would experience horrible slow downs probably crashes too, also whenever you use a game in a way that wasn't intended for your asking for trouble. Remember that there are going to be like 30 or more of your creatures running around in the end.

Now a crazy idea could be to allow people to design their own parts from scratch. This way everything would always be fresh but I imagine this would have endless problems. Probably be way too complicated too.
