Long time viewer of particularly this one thread - lots of really great creatures in here and I'm certainly looking forward to encountering some of them in Spore

The idea for this creature sort of just popped up in my head after watching one of those cartoons, where the character's head and hands aren't really attached to the rest of the body.

Leviculus (which as far as I can understand is latin and could be translated to "empty headed") - is able to fill the great big empty cavity that is it's head with a very lightweight gas, making it soar into the air above the creature. This helps the Leviculus keep an eye out for predators while feeding.
